Message to Churches
In the first part of the Book of Revelation, Jesus reveals himself as the Alpha and Omega (the beginning of everything that ever was, and the end of everything that ever will be) and gives a message to the seven churches. The message includes commendations, exhortations and warnings. Jesus’ message to the first churches then is equally relevant to us in this day.

Jesus Christ was in the beginning of time (Alpha, the one who always was), He is with us today (the one who is), and will be till the end of time (Omega, the one who is still to come) and He is the Almighty One (the ruler of all the earth)

We never have to feel unknown or unseen. God knows and God sees our toils for Him and our patient endurance through trials.

A rebuke or a reprimand is never easy. Jesus’ message to the church at Ephesus is a good self-check for believers, from time to time. “Am I walking in the love I first had for Jesus?”

The Holy Spirit is in constant communion with His people (the church). What does the Holy Spirit want us know, understand and follow today?

An overcomer is one who heeds the words of Jesus. The Tree of Life that was once prohibited to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden is now permitted to the one who overcomes that they may live eternally with God!
